Qualifications:

1.    For MS (By Research): B. Tech in EE/ECE/CS/IT, M. Sc (Mathematics),

2.    For Ph. D.: ME/M. Tech (EE/ECE/CS) 

3.    In both the above cases the candidates are required to have a strong mathematical background, specifically in linear algebra, discrete mathematics and probability theory.

• Cryptography: Generation of primitive polynomials with specified coefficients
• Cryptography: Statistical testing of Pseudorandom sequences for use in stream cipher design
• Coding Theory: List decoding of Reed-Solomon codes
• Cryptography/Cryptanalysis: Correlation attacks

Qualifications: A strong mathematical background and an aptitude for mathematics.
